Wildflowers near Hylters, Chilgrove, West Sussex
Farmers in the Chilgrove area have been laving strips around their fields untouched – I assume in an effort to promote wildlife diversity but possibly for the managed pheasants waiting to be shot in September. Either way some wonderful wild flowers emerge to contrast with the lone telegraph posts and pylons.
